Hello! I am Libby.

I am a CAD Drafter and Fine Artist located in the Pacific Northwest.

Drafting and design work has been something I have been honing since college where I learned how to use 3D modeling software and hand draw engineering-level mechanical drawings "the old fashioned way". I feel best when I pursue both technical and creative passions so getting crafty with fiber arts and working with computers balances out great.

My design approach is rooted in clear communication with a focus on details and creative problem solving. I enjoy the creative process that comes from collaborating on projects, be it with architects, contractors, business owners, home owners, or just about anyone who is looking to gather designs for their projects.

Passion for precision and craftsmanship runs in my family; my grandfather worked as a draftsman and architect starting back in the 50’s and I still use some of his reference books today. My experience in the design industry got going by doing social media and graphics for local business’ marketing campaigns. I then got my footing in the drafting world thanks to a local metal fabrication shop where I work part time.

I have discovered a constant source of inspiration from working with clients and curating custom tailored solutions that truly help people with their spaces. It feels extremely rewarding to deliver practical and aesthetically pleasing work after taking time to understand a person’s needs and aesthetics. I am in my happy place when I am in the design process which helps me do my best to make everything as easy as possible for those I work with.
